Many of the United States Postal Service postage stamps carry a “Forever” rate. This means the Forever stamp values will always equal whatever the current shipping rate is. There are different types of Forever stamps. Each carries a specific rate, for a specific mailing service. If you have extra unused Forever stamps, we will pay you cash for your stamps.

When it comes to Forever stamps, it does not matter what year the stamps were issued. The first Forever rate stamp was released in 2007. It carried the First-Class rate at that time, which was $0.41. If you happen to have any lying around, they would be worth $0.68 each in 2024.

You can use them for sending mail today, without having to add additional postage. This wasn’t always the case. You could still use unused postage stamps issued as far back as 1847, but you needed to include enough stamps on your letter or package to make the current rate. A bit of a hassle, for both the sender and for USPS employees, who needed to calculate multiple stamps on said mailings.

    Selling Forever Stamps For Cash

Because Forever stamps not only hold their value, but increase (or decrease) as USPS adjusts their rates, they are highly resalable. In other words, it’s very easy to sell them for cash. However, like with most things in the resale market, you can expect the resale prices to be below the Forever stamp values. After all, people do need to make a living.

Sell Unused Stamps is a service that will purchase your unused Forever stamps. They’ll pay up to 50% of the stamp value. Choose to be paid by check, PayPal, or bank wire. Their process is easy, and they typically issue payment within 1 business day from accepting their purchase offer.
